This is Sky’s latest advert that uses six David Beckhams to showcase the multiple platforms available for a fan to follow football using Sky Sports. I like this ad for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it reminds me that the new football season is drawing ever nearer and I can’t wait. Secondly, It features legendary Shepherds Bush pie and mash shop A.Cookes which opened in 1891 and has been owned and run by the same family since 1934. Cookes also makes an appearance in the film Quadrophenia.
Unfortunately Cookes is currently in a battle with the council to stay open and avoid the shop being converted into a large block of flats. Click here to save Cookes.
